【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversrequirementsforplasticliningstobeappliedtoasbestos-cementpipe,designedforspecialserviceincarryingcorrosivefluids.Thisspecificationalsocoversmethodsoftestingplasticliningmaterialaswellassectionsoflinedpipe.Therequirementsestablishedbythisspecificationshallserveasaguidein,butnotthesolebasisfor,judgingthesuitabilityoftheproductforaparticularservice.Theselectionofthematerialshouldincludeconsiderationofperformanceinsimilarapplicationsortestingundertheintendedservicecondition.Note18212;Todeterminethesuitabilityoftheproductforaparticularserviceorcorrosivefluid,refertothemanufacturerforspecificrecommendations.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Warning8212;Breathingofasbestosdustishazardous.Asbestosandasbestosproductspresentdemonstratedhealthrisksforusersandforthosewithwhomtheycomeintocontact.Inadditiontootherprecautions,whenworkingwithasbestos-cementproducts,minimizethedustthatresults.Forinformationonthesafeuseofchrysotileasbestos,referto"SafeUseofChrysotile:AManualonPreventiveandControlMeasures."1.4Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodportion,Section9,ofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
