【摘要】:Thehorizontaldynamometerpullmeterandheelassembliesaredesignedtodeterminethestaticcoefficientoffrictionoftileandlikematerials.Themeasurementmadebythisapparatusisbelievedtobeoneimportantfactorrelativetoslipresistance.Otherfactorscanaffectslipresistance,suchasthedegreeofwearontheshoeandflooringmaterial;presenceofforeignmaterial,suchaswater,oil,anddirt;thelengthofthehumanstrideatthetimeofslip;typeoffloorfinish;andthephysicalandmentalconditionofhumans.Therefore,thistestmethodshouldbeusedforthepurposeofdevelopingapropertyoftheflooringsurfaceunderlaboratoryconditions,andshouldnotbeusedtodetermineslipresistanceunderfieldconditionsunlessthoseconditionsarefullydescribed.Becausemanyvariablesmayenterintotheevaluationofslipresistanceofaparticularsurface,thistestmethodisdesignedtoevaluatethesesurfacesunderbothlaboratoryandactualsiteinstallationconditions.ThestaticcoefficientoffrictionisdeterminedunderbothwetanddryconditionswithNeoliteheelassembliesoverbothunpreparedandprepared(cleaned)testsurfaces.1.1ThistestmethodcoversthemeasurementofstaticcoefficientoffrictionofceramictileorothersurfacesunderbothwetanddryconditionswhileutilizingNeoliteheelassemblies.Thistestmethodcanbeusedinthelaboratoryorinthefield.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
